INSPIRING SUNSET IN THE DANISH COUNTRYSIDE
SEPTEMBER 18:
Today
I want to make a few comments to the time of the year we are in right now. Late
summer, early autumn. On the southern
hemisphere such as in Australia it is the other way around: late winter, early
spring.
Here
we have had beautiful late summer days during this week. Chilly in the morning
and in the evening. But very pleasant and inspiring. Last night we visited close friends here.
They are living on a farm outside a small village – surrounded by fields and an
open blue sky.
The
early evenings around and just after sunset are magnificent. So was it also last night. The sun had just “gone
to bed” after a day’s nice work. The
horses in the nearby field enjoyed it as much as we did. It was calm,
colourful, inspiring – and with beautiful colours such as yellow and blue ( the
European colours, of course 😊
) and with many more colours. And
the interesting thing is that each of us see this performance of colours in a
different way. Some might – like me – be colour blind on certain colours –
others are not. And the camera sees the
colours in again another way – depending on the sort and sophistication of the
camera. But is it all a great pleasure
to see and to experience. A sort of
self-service table of pleasure and stimulation.
Here
is what my camera saw last night:
