THE UNITED KINGDOM - AND THE WORLD

Today also a couple of words about the Brexit situation for the British:    When the United Kingdom no longer is a member of the EU it will, of course, no longer be covered by the hundreds of agreements, which EU over many years has made with other countries around the world. The number of such agreements is about 600.  They cover lots of areas such as trade, free movement, investments, environment, transport, education, research and development, energy, and much more.

The British government now has to negotiate new agreements on all these areas alone.  It will need a lot of resources and take a long time.  And perhaps some of the countries around the world are not even interested in agreements with the UK.  Countries like Australia and India have already rejected the sort of trade agreements, which the British have suggested.
